A family practice built on technical rigor, professional licensure, and a reputation earned across Central Florida one survey at a time.
Ellis Surveys was established by University of Florida Alumni licensed Professional Surveyor & Mapper Bob Ellis. First operating out of a home office in Central Florida. Precise work, reputation earned one project at a time.
Growing demand required a proper base of operations. Ellis Surveys moved into its first dedicated office — building infrastructure for larger, more complex project work.
The founder's son Caleb Ellis — a now University of Florida-trained Professional Surveyor & Mapper — joined full time to start thier Surveryor career. The office now had several licensed PSMs and CADD technicians, all field-proven.
Relocated to a larger compound purpose-built for a modern survey operation — field crews, in-house CADD team, and equipment infrastructure for projects of any scale.
Ellis Surveys operates as a full-service surverying firm serving residential, commercial, and federal clients across Florida. Dedicated, Family-owned, professionally licensed, field-ready.
